AV Support Officer

Job Description • Provide AV/Multimedia technical support for lessons, CCA, examinations, meetings and school events. • Set up and operate AV/Multimedia equipment, live streaming and video-conferencing facilities. • Provide technical advice on AV/Multimedia equipment and related software. • Support staff and students in the use of AV/Multimedia facilities. • Conduct training for staff and students on AV/Multimedia equipment. • Perform servicing, troubleshooting and basic repairs of AV/Multimedia equipment. • Maintain equipment records, inventory, loan records and asset checks. • Assist with procurement, maintenance and replacement of AV/Multimedia equipment. • Coordinate AV/Multimedia projects with vendors and school stakeholders. • Perform other AV/Multimedia duties as assigned by the school. Requirements • MinimumDiploma or equivalent relevant qualification. • At least2 years of experience as an AV Support Officer or equivalent, preferably in a school environment. • Good knowledge of AV equipment, including projectors, visualisers, speakers, mixers, switchers and control panels. • Able to troubleshoot AV systems and provide technical support. • Experience in live streaming and video conferencing is preferred. • Good computer and IT skills. • Experience in managing AV equipment for school events, functions and projects is preferred. • Experience in equipment maintenance, asset management and user training is preferred. • Experiencesupporting live performances in concert halls is an advantage. • Strongteamwork, communication and interpersonal skills. • Positive attitude, diligent, independent and willing to learn. • Able to multitask and meet deadlines
