Robotics Mechanical Design Engineer (up to $8,000 base + Bonus)

Responsibilities • Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems for advanced hardware products • Create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and manufacturing documentation using CAD tools • Support product development activities from concept, prototyping, testing, and validation through to production • Conduct mechanical testing and analyse performance, reliability, and failure modes to drive continuous improvement • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components • Work with suppliers and manufacturing partners to optimise designs for quality, cost, and manufacturability • Perform engineering calculations and analysis to support design decisions and product performance • Maintain technical documentation including BOMs, drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions Requirements • Experience in mechanical design, product development, or engineering design environments • Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or equivalent 3D design platforms • Exposure to manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, additive manufacturing, or injection moulding • Strong engineering fundamentals with the ability to solve practical design and integration challenges Additional Information • Exposure to robotics, automation, aerospace, semiconductor equipment, medical devices, or other advanced hardware industries will be advantageous • Experience with FEA, rapid prototyping, testing, or product validation is a plus • Opportunity to work on innovative engineering projects within a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment Tyson Jay Management Pte Ltd | EA License No.: 24C2479 Ivan Lim | EA Personnel No.: R1109856
