Scheduling Coordinator, Operating Theatre

Job Responsibilities Responsible for the daily management of OT scheduling in an efficient and orderly manner. Attends to incoming telephone calls and enquiries pertaining to the scheduling of OT cases. Ensures enough timing allocated for all scheduled cases respectively. . Keys in cases into HMIS accordingly. Prepares and prints OT list for the following day. Distributes OT list to individual department. Liaises with Imaging department for 1/1 cases or Endoscopy for scope whenever required. Liaises with vendor to ensure instruments or items are delivered on time. Assists to receive implants and instruments if required. Collects eye implant ordered, verify the accuracy of supply and keep in the allocated space accordingly. Performs all other related duties as assigned by OT Manager/ related to job in the department. Job Requirements Diploma in Nursing or equivalent. At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Competent in Nursing Care. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
